Last week, we introduced IBS awareness week, but undoubtedly the most pressing question for anyone currently experiencing an IBS flare-up is how to relieve its pain right here, right now.

We mentioned before that there is no treatment for IBS - at least not in the way that other conditions can be cured. There are, however, methods to make yourself more comfortable while experiencing pain and discomfort associated with IBS.

There are no specialist IBS medications that Australian doctors prescribe, but over the counter medication alongside lifestyle changes works very well. Speak to your doctor for advice on treating IBS and any other stomach complaints.
